The annual SOLAR POWER exhibition
The annual Solar Power exhibition is America’s largest solar exhibition and is an event that attracts 25,000 visitors coming to see about 650 exhibitors. The Solar Power exhibition takes place in October in an area of California called Anaheim.
Expected at the exhibition are at least 200 speakers and to complement them there will be special sessions and a variety of workshops. Five years on from Solar Power International’s inception the Solar Power exhibition is established as the prime solar power event with more than 22,500 attendees expected this fall.
The annual Solar Power exhibition is not the sole exhibition of its kind in the USA but it is clearly a leading event when compared to other renewable energy and solar panel exhibitions. Despite the plethora of mini solar events around the country the annual Solar Power International exhibition has established itself in five short years as the premier exhibition in the solar energy and renewables’ calendar. It has become the USA’s largest solar conference and exhibition, attracting the largest number of decision-making attendees.
Profits from the Solar Power International exhibition are ploughed back into the industry to support the continued expansion of the markets for solar power. Following the last Solar Power exhibition, the people attending reported that they were expecting to spend over the following year almost $4 billion.
In 2010, the Solar Power International Exhibition will be held in the Los Angeles Convention Centre from October 12-14.
