Solar Panel Diodes
Trying to make a solar panel from signal diodes.?
I have tested 1 diode and put it in the light but it only generates 0.01 mv. I have to put the diode right up onto the light in order for it to read the voltage. Is this because the diode is not light sensitive enough or because it doesnt have enough voltage. Sorry for all the ?. I am trying to build a solar bot.
I think you mean it generates .01V (not mV). It could be a faulty diode. Have you tested others? Try testing 10 of them linked in series.
