Solar Panel Glass Window
Gaffer tape marks on glass, what to do ?
Hi,
Out of curiosity, I bought 16 small solar panels, and by hooking them up in appropriate parallel / series circuits to power a small fan.
This worked fine, but I taped the arrays to the inside of my bedroom window with good old gaffer tape.
Darn, when I came to move them to a better position, I am left with the sticky marks, what to do ?
My lighter fuel claims that it will also remove marks from sticky labels etc, and I have also tried both turpentine and petrol.
Even with a scraper, the goo remains.
Any good remedies ?

I’ve heard WD40 & bleach both work, never tried though……..
