Solar Panel Rv Mounts
My two 130 watt solar panels only put out maximum 10.2 volts peek at the controler. What’s up?
This is on a new 5th wheel rv bought in March 2010. 2 roof mounted 130 watt panels, charge controller, 2000 watt sign wave inverter, four golf cart batteries, back-up 5500 watt genset. Voltage reading was taken after disconnecting the input wires from the panels at the controller.
“low light “dirty panel, clouds, ect.” gauge of wiring to small “use thinker cable” cable to long “shorten or use heaver gauge” damaged or over worked “hot” diodes in over overcharge prevention device from panel to batteries.
test voltage as close to panel, then prior to the overcharge prevention device, again after the device, ect.
