Solar Panels San Diego

My parents are redoing their roof this summer with solar panels, any advice on companies in San Diego?
In general, they should get bids from several companies, and there are a lot in your area. Everyone is hungry for business. Ask for local references, then actually go and visit those installations. If they haven’t done work in your area, then you’re taking your chances – they could be good, could not be.
If any installer tries to use a pressure tactic on you, like a discount that is only good if you sign the contract immediately, walk away. There are tons of installers that will compete for your job.
Try to plan for both solar hot water and electric. Hot water is the one that pays back the fastest, even if it’s not as high-tech or sexy as solar electric.
