solar panel water features
Please have a look at the video that’s linked here, and please explain to me how to connect it?

Here’s the ( link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ_oQL3NYdM&feature=fvsr ) Its a video on a solar heating system. What I would love to know it what insulation panel they used, what size piping one can use, and what exactly is hard pipe, and where I could find these items. But most importantly, once the unit is made, how do I connect it to heat the water??? Does the water run through the piping? Our geyser has a inlet pipe with a element inside and a thermometer. There’s a pressure release valve to. Any help would be more than greatly appreciated!!!

* The insulation is what is used in commercial buildings above the drop ceiling panels. Any kind of rigid foam insulation would work. For example, cut these: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xhi/R-100320352/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
* Hard pipe is not intended to be flexible, and is what you would normally think of as “pipe”. Tubing is demonstrated in the video and is meant to be bent or coiled to suit. This (but in a smaller diameter) would do the trick: http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xhi/R-100188719/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
* Yes, it is implied that the water to be heated runs through the pipe. The box is a solar collector which converts to heat.
* A water heating system would have to have a reservoir—usually a storage tank—and a circulating pump. Also, a practical system in areas where it freezes needs to do something about draining down when freezing is likely, and protection against over-pressurization, air bubble removal, etc.
